Ilana Goor Museum
Ilana Goor Museum or Ilana Goor Residence and Museum (Hebrew: מוזיאון אילנה גור) is an Israeli museum located in the shore of Tel Aviv and Old Jaffa city. == History ==
The building of Ilana Goor Museum was originally built in 1742.〔 At that time it was an inn for pilgrims travelling to Jerusalem. Other than being an inn, it was also a shelter to protect the pilgrims from robbers. In 1948 a community of Libyan Jews were using this building as a part of their synagogue.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.ilanagoormuseum.org/eng/The-Building/The-Building/ )〕 In 1983 Ilana Goor purchased a portion of the building.
